During the 2010 campaign, lots of underclassmen filled key roles and gained valuable playing time.  Coach Bill Smart believes that experience will mean a more competitive season this year, especially as line play improves. Coach Smart's team "worked harder than ever" this offsesason with many players showing good leadership. The Wing-T offense will be strong in the skill postions and none should be more noticable than Mark Suffolk. Suffolk is a college prospect who is superfast (4.4 speed) and according to his coach is the "best athlete on the field." WR Casey Corn has "great hands" and led the team in receiving last year.  This offense will be balanced between run and pass. Depth on the offensive line could be an issue. OL Marty Plummer has "great feet" and is "strong." Defensively, the  secondary will be tough with all starters back except for the free safety. DB Darrick Wiley is a two-year starter entering his senior season. DE Bryce Willaims is a "difference maker" on the field with good size and speed. The defensive line is a lot stronger this year, but depth will be a concern and replacing senior LB's will be a preseason priority.  Kicking game is the usual strong suit. Precision and discipline may be the deciding factors for what could be a season to remember.  Overall, 13 starters return.
